commands while working through them with a positive attitude and persistence.
(Private Lessons Only)
Advanced/Off-Leash training is
worked privately only, and is specifically catered to each dog and owner.
We work past the Intermediate level and move more toward a voice
controlled off leash skill. This private lesson is also useful for off-leash
problem solving.
Agility I
$120.00
Agility is a sport for all breeds and types of dogs, and appeals to people of all ages. It is designed to demonstrate a dog's willingness to work with its handler in a variety of situations and is an athletic event that requires conditioning, concentration, training and teamwork. Dog and handlers negotiate an obstacle course racing against the clock. It is preferred for your pet to have some basic obedience training and is at least 8 months old before taking this class.
$120.00
To
enroll in Agility II, your dog must have successfully completed our Agility I course or have proven his ability to
perform each of the agility obstacles through a private lesson. We work towards
off-lead course work, therefore, your dog also must be able to sit, stay, down,
and recall off-lead with a variety of distractions present.

Flyball is the fastest growing
dog sport in America. It is an exciting team sport for dogs, dog handlers and
spectators. The sport is not limited to any one breed of dog, as both
pampered pedigrees and mixed breeds love to compete. There are four
jumps on the lane and at the far end is a “flyball box”. The flyball
box is set up so that when a dog steps on it, a tennis ball is released and
sent flying out. Flyball I is an introduction to the sport, level II adds
distractions, team work and speed.
Earthdog Class
$120.00
In Earthdog training, small, short legged terriers are recognized for the working ability and instinct. These dogs were bred to hunt vermin and other quarry which lived in underground dens. Earthdog den trials involve man-made underground tunnels that the dogs must negotiate, while scenting a rat or other target, such as treats. The dog must follow the scent to the quarry and then "work" the quarry. Depending on the sanctioning organization, “working” means barking, scratching, staring, pawing, digging; any active behavior.
